In the height of the hols/season when parking in St.Ives is very difficult a good alternative to drive to the Park & Ride at Lelant Saltings and take the scenic 13mins train journey along the coast line into St.Ives. The galleries, shops and  seafood Restaurants along with the hustle and bustle of the resort is certainly something to be experienced. There is plenty to entertain all ages, close by attractions include the conservation zoo at Paradise Park  (a stunning collection of rare birds) The Tate Gallery at St Ives, golf at Lelant and trout fishing is within walking distance.
