Truro Cathedral
Soaring above the surrounding rooftops, Truro Cathedral
is located at the heart of this thriving Georgian city
and wonderfully situated in of the Royal
Duchy of Cornwall.
Land's End Discover a variety of things to
do and see at legendary Land's End whilst enjoying some
of the most dramatic scenery in the country. Enjoy
firework spectaculars during the summer months every
Tuesday and Thursday evening or enjoy a first class meal
at the Land's End Hotel.
St Michael's Mount Described as 'The Jewel
in West Cornwall's Crown', St Michaels Mount is well
worth a visit - walk across the causeway at low tide or
take a boat trip to the Island where you can then go on
to explore the castle, gardens and quaint island
village.

Cider Farm Nestled in 16 acres
of apple orchard, the Cornish Cider Farm has much to
offer all the family for a fun day out. Featuring a children's section
with games to keep kids busy, there is also a restaurant, farm shop and
museum tour admission is free!
Levant Steam Engine A great place to visit
for those interested in Cornwall's mining heritage, Levant features a
working steam-powered engine.
Porthcurno Telegraph Museum An underground
museum with lots to see and an interesting children's
section for the kids. Porthcurno itself is also a lovely
place to visit and is home to the famous Minack theatre.
Goonhilly Earth Station Goonhilly is the
largest satellite earth station in the world. Great for
children and adults alike, a whole day would be needed
to visit Goonhilly as there is so much to see and do,
take a guided tour, enjoy the interactive exhibitions,
see yourself in outer-space or much, much more.

Pendennis Castle An interesting day out for
all the family, Pendennis Castle and it's sister castle,
St Mawes, face each other across the mouth of the river
Fal. See the Noonday Gun fired each day and enjoy
exploring the castle and it's tunnels. Open all year
round.
National Seal Sanctuary A Rescue,
Rehabilitation, and Release centre for seals, children
especially love to see the seals. Open all year round.
Newquay Zoo Newquay Zoo began as a small
pet's corner in the 60s and is now considered to be one
of the best attractions in Cornwall. Winner of 11 major
awards since 1996, Newquay Zoo is perfect for a family
day out. Open from 9am to 6.15pm in the summer months.
Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay The Blue Reef
Aquarium is a stunning visit for all the family
featuring hundreds of tropical & local marine species in
the gigantic ocean display. New for 2005 is the fresh
water turtle displays. Open daily from 10am to 5pm.
Paradise Park A variety of feathered
attractions to be enjoyed at Paradise Park, this is a
great park for all the family and very popular with
children. As well as rare and unusual birds, the park
also features a farm area where kids can feed the
animals, otters, small animals.

Minack Theatre
The Minack Theatre, a full history and what's on guide, and more information for those new to us. "Minack" is Cornish for a rocky place and the crag below the theatre has always attracted local fishermen - until the 1930's they had the gorse filled gully to themselves, and the cliffs echoed to the cries of gulls not actors -
